Did you know that anyone can shop at the Radford Clothing Bank?
The Radford Clothing Bank provides good used clothing in an attractive and inviting atmosphere. Persons in need who reside in the New River Valley may shop for free clothing. Other shoppers pay $6 for a basket of clothes. In its 28th year, it is a mission of 15 area churches operated by a Board of Directors and over 300 volunteers. The Bank is a United Way partner and receives additional support from the participating churches, community organizations, grants and shoppers.
There are some great deals to be found.
From the Radford Clothing Bank website:
We need shoppers!
We depend on paying customers to cover rent & utilities. Check out our surprising collection of special priced clothing, including designer labels and brand new donations!
Shoppers not qualifying for free clothing are welcome to shop and inventory changes daily.  Just walk in, grab a basket and tell them you are here to shop! If you are not sure if you qualify for free clothing check out the information here.
I personally have found some great brand new items at the clothing bank for a fraction of their retail value.  In fact, I just got a pair of new Converse Chucks for $3!
