What to Buy in September


Did you know that certain items go on sale during a particular time of the year?  If you pay attention to the sale cycles, you can stock up when prices are at rock bottom.  Buying produce in season is a great way to save money, so plan your menus accordingly!  

 

Here is what to look for in September:

 

Back to School Sales through Labor Day:  Crayons, Pencils, Folders, Binders
Diabetes: Bayer Glucose Meters, Glucerna Cereal
Seasonal Produce: Apples, Artichokes, Beans, Bell Peppers, Chili Peppers, Cucumber, Eggplant, Grapes, Onion, Valencia Orange, Asian Pears, Bartlett Pears, Pomegranate, Squash, Tomatillo, Tomatoes, Winter Squash
Baby Items: Major Baby Equipment, Baby Safety
